basic terms for using our stock (also posted on each image package page.)
1. You may use our stock on any website, for any type of artwork.
2. Credit shall be in the description of the deviation to ~Anidi
**note: for websites like Ponybox.com where credit is required ON the picture, you only have to include "ANIDI" as credit
3. Credit does not have to be on the image itself.
4. You must let us know where our stock has been used. This can be done by commenting on our main page, noting us, et cetera. If you use it outside of deviantART, please post where it's been used.
Please enjoy Anidi stock! We hope to become a resource for Equine Photomanipulators, as well as various other types of artists who require stock, and welcome our Photo's to be used in anything.
What Can I use Anidi stock for?
Anidi generously allows our stock to be used for any kind of artwork. Tenatively, we include political artwork in this category, and artwork that presents strong views against a subject. We allow this because we do not want to limit the freedom artists should have when working. However, we reserve the right to ask you to remove your work at any time.
Can I sell Anidi stock?
You MAY resell any unaltered stock, however you must first get permission from ~Talisturo who is the curator and proprietor of Anidi.
**Note:
When asking for permission to use Anidi stock, you should phrase your request appropriately and include the following information:
Link to the original piece:
Link to the website where the artwork is being produced:
(deviantART print store, Aarons Brother's printing, Cafepress etc.)
Where can I use Anidi stock?
Our stock can be used on any website, provided you follow our rules on credits, which are stated below underneath the "Anidi Stock Credits" segment.
May I post unaltered stock images in my deviantART or any gallery that I have?
No. Anidi considers this a form of Art Theft. Stock must be heavily, or [at least] somewhat altered. Heavy alterations include fully cutting out a stock object, using texture on another image, adding in objects to a stock used for background, et cetera. Simply putting text onto a stock image, or changing colors and reposting is not sufficient alteration and is unacceptable.
How should I credit Anidi on deviantART?
For our stock Images, Anidi requires that you only credit ~Anidi (our old stock terms dictated credit be required to both ~Talisturo and ~Anidi but terms have changed for lenience on this policy.)
OR
~Talisturo & ~Anidi © Stock Photography
You do not need to say what type of stock you have used. For example, you do not need to say, "Horse stock from ~Anidi & ~Talisturo but you may. Crediting can be essentially done however you wish, as long as you have ~Anidi in the description.
Why do you distribute stock in packages?
We submit our stock in packages for convenience. You get several similiar photographs in one package, which makes it easier for Artists to use and download. We also submit in packages because to download a package, you must be a member of deviantART, so we cut down the risk of people using our images without our knowing or consent.
How do I download a package?
You simply hit the "Download" button on the side of the deviation preview.
Should I let Anidi know that I have used their stock?
YES. This is in some sense mandatory. Not only so that we can visit your work and see what our Stock Photo's are being used for, but to make sure you are crediting us properly.
If we see that you have posted our Photograph's without letting us know, we will ask you to remove them and/or note you our full stock rules for a reminder.
If the offense happens multiple times, you will be reported to deviantART staff for policy violations, and action will be taken from there.
How should I let Anidi know that I used their stock?
Post on our main page, comment on the original package, or send us a note. As long as you attempt to make a connection with us, any method is fine.
rules are subject to change at any time.
